From 2014 to 2016, the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland was the proud sponsor of the annual athletics championships organised by the Ulster Secondary Schools Athletics Association. The sponsorship aimed to highlight the potential role of milk in sports nutrition and for a healthy, active lifestyle.

The Championships are an integral part of school athletics, and have been the launch pad for many of Northern Ireland’s athletes who have gone on to compete internationally.

The Dairy Council’s sponsorship got off to a great start at the Track and Field Finals which were held at the Antrim Forum on 17th May 2014. 2015 saw the Cross Country Finals on the 24th February and the Track and Field Finals, again at the Antrim Forum, on 15th and 16th May. And another great day at the Cross County finals on 10th February 2016 followed by the Track and Field Finals on 13th and 14th May 2016.
