Milk-Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Hearts

Ingredients

150g plain flour

100g NI butter (softened to room temp)

50g caster sugar

100g milk chocolate

Hundreds and Thousands

10 biscuits

Method

To a bowl, add your butter and caster sugar and mix

Add the flour and mix, then knead with your hands to create your dough

Lightly flour a surface and roll out dough using a rolling pin 

Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out your heart-shaped biscuits

Add to a lined baking tray and chill for 30 minutes

Sprinkle with caster sugar

Bake at 160 degrees for 10 minutes

Allow to cool for 10 minutes

Dip each heart in melted chocolate and sprinkle on your Hundreds and Thousands

Serve
