2015 ‘Milk It’ Seminar

The Dairy Council for Northern Ireland hosted a sports nutrition seminar on the evening of Wednesday 7th October at W5, Belfast. 

The UK’s Greatest Ever Gymnast Beth Tweddle MBE and Lead Nutritionist to British Gymnastics Mhairi Keil shared practical insights into the role of sports nutrition for the competitive gymnast.

Dr Lewis James from Loughborough University also presented an update on the role of milk for post–exercise rehydration. 

The seminar was chaired by Dr Sharon Madigan, Head of Performance Nutrition at the Irish Institute of Sport.
