Milk, Nutritious by Nature Symposium

Exploring the health benefits of the milk matrix

The European Milk Forum, together with the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland, is hosting a scientific symposium for nutrition and health professionals on Monday 15th September at The MAC, Belfast.  International experts will explore the health benefits of the milk matrix.

Dr Jean–Michel Lecerf, Institut Pasteur de Lille, France - From milk matrix to health benefits: an overview 

Prof Ian Givens, University of Reading, UK - Cardio–metabolic health: what’s the role of dairy? 

Prof Arne Astrup, University of Copenhagen - Dairy and weight management: a review of the evidence

The seminar will be chaired by Dr Michelle McKinley from Queen’s University Belfast. 

It will begin at 1.00pm, with a buffet lunch available from 12.15 pm, and finish at 3.30pm.
