Children's cheesy pasta bowl with peas and ham

Ingredients

200g pasta (any shape will do, small shapes are good for kids packed lunches)

40g NI natural yogurt

50g cream cheese

Cup of frozen peas

6 slices of thick sliced cooked ham, finely chopped

100g NI Cheddar cheese, grated

Servings
6 - 8 depending on child's appetite

Method

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.

For the last 4 minutes, add the frozen peas.

Drain the water from the pasta and return to the pot.

Add the cream cheese, natural yogurt and ham and mix until thick and creamy.

Split the mixture into lunch bowls and top with grated Cheddar.

This can be served warm or cold so is great for packed lunches.

It will keep in an airtight container for up to fours days in the fridge.
