The Dairy Council is hosting a conference for nutrition, health and education professionals on the evening of 21 April at W5, Belfast with a focus on food choice and eating behaviour
Professor Sean Strain, OBE from Ulster University will chair the event and the speakers are:
Dr Anestis Dougkas, Institut Lyfe Research & Innovation Centre, Lyon - Beyond nutrients: sensory perception, dairy foods, and their role in enhancing sustainable diets
Dr Suzanne Spence, Newcastle University - When policy meets preference: school food choices through policy, environment and pupils at the centre
Professor Marion Hetherington, University of Leeds - Loss of appetite in older adults: comparing food first and oral nutritional supplements for prevention and treatment of malnutrition
Dr Ruth Price, Ulster University - Targeting the brain: how surgery and medications for obesity reshape the way we eat
It will begin at 5:45pm, with refreshments available from 5:00pm, and finish at approximately 8:00pm. Please download the invitation for the full programme and speaker details.
