Sports Nutrition Seminar 2021

The Dairy Council for Northern Ireland is hosting a Sports Nutrition seminar on the 10th November.

The event will be online, taking place via livestream. Dr Nicholas Burd from the University of Illinois will discuss food matrix effects on protein nutrition and the implications for athletes.

We will also have practical sports nutrition insights from the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics with GB Paralympic swimmer Bethany Firth MBE and Irish international hockey player Shirley McCay, together with performance nutritionists Lorna Cooke and Dr Julia Bone from Sport NI Sports Institute and Dr Sharon Madigan, Sport Ireland Institute. Dr Madigan will also chair the webinar. It will begin at 3:30pm and finish at 4:45pm. Full details are on the invitation.
