Nutrition and Health Professional Conference

We regret that due to the Covid–19 outbreak, the conference has been cancelled.

We hope to reschedule later in the autumn. Delegates who have already registered will be contacted individually and their booking fee refunded.

The Dairy Council is hosting a conference for nutrition and health professionals on 8th April at The Merchant Hotel, Belfast

The conference will focus on new developments in nutrition science and practice, including those in relation to dairy foods, and will be chaired by Professor Sean Strain from Ulster University.

Professor Barbara Livingstone, Ulster University - Towards evidence based nutrient recommendations for a balanced breakfast

Professor Alan Kelly, University College Cork - The dairy food matrix: composition, properties and implications of processing, a food science perspective

Dr Claire McEvoy, Queen’s University Belfast - Food for thought: can diet protect against cognitive decline during ageing?

Professor Adam Drewnowski, University of Washington - Healthy diets from sustainable food systems

Registration for the conference costs £25.00 (including lunch and refreshments throughout the day). Applications should be with the Dairy Council for NI by 3rd April 2020.

Refunds will be given if delegates give notice before 3rd April that they are unable to attend, or in the event that the conference cannot take place.
