Cheese Creative winning recipes

The winners of our Dairy Council for Northern Ireland ‘Cheese Creative’ recipe competition have been presented with prints of their winning dishes.

Local couple Lynsey Hollywood and Robert Ainley, aka ‘Down the Hatch NI’, won the blogger category with their Savoury Sunday Supper Cheesecake made with Northern Ireland Cheddar.

The chef’s category winner was Vital Sgibnevas, Head Function Chef at The Merchant Hotel,  with a Camembert and caramelised onion tart with gingerbread and fig.

The winning dishes were photographed by the award–winning David Pauley, and showcased at a gala event in Brussels.

The competition was part of the ‘Cheese Up Your Life’ programme which celebrates the quality, variety and versatility of European cheese. Click here for more.
