Nutrition and Health What’s New? conference

The Dairy Council held its annual conference for nutrition and health professionals on 28th April at W5, Belfast.

‘Nutrition and Health – What’s New?’ focused on the latest developments in nutrition science and practice, including those in relation to dairy foods, and was chaired by Professor Barbara Livingstone from Ulster University.

Speakers included:

Novel perspectives on the association between dairy, dairy fat and cardiometabolic health

Dr Katie Adolphus, University of Leeds
Effect of breakfast consumption on cognitive and academic performance in children and adolescents
