Annual Nutrition Lecture 2024

Where Does Food Processing Fit in Healthy and Sustainable Diets?

This year’s Annual Dairy Council Nutrition Lecture with NICHE at Ulster University took place on the 20 November and was given by Professor Eileen Gibney . Professor Gibney is Director at University College Dublin Institute of Food and Health.

This was the 35th Lecture in the series. A summary and the slides of Professor's Gibney's presentation 'Where Does Food Processing Fit in Healthy and Sustainable Diets?' are available to download.

The event was opened and chaired by Professor Carol Curran OBE, Executive Dean of Life and Health Sciences at Ulster University and the introduction given by Professor Sean Strain OBE, Emeritus Professor of Human Nutrition at Ulster University.
