If I drink semi–skimmed milk, will I miss out on calcium?
No. It is a common misconception that whole milk contains more calcium than semi–skimmed milk, but this is not the case. By switching to semi–skimmed milk you will be getting roughly the same amount of calcium as you were from whole milk. 100mls of semi–skimmed milk, for example, will provide you with 124mg of calcium, compared to 122mg of calcium per 100mls of whole milk.
