Sports Nutrition Seminar

The Dairy Council for Northern Ireland is hosting a sports nutrition seminar on the evening of Wednesday 29th October at The MAC, Belfast. 

Olympic rowing champion Anna Watkins and Lead Nutritionist to the GB Rowing Team Wendy Martinson will share their practical sports nutrition insights, including from the London 2012 Olympics.

Prof Kevin Tipton from the University of Stirling will present an update on post–exercise recovery strategies including the potential role of milk. 

The seminar will be chaired by Dr Sharon Madigan, Head of Performance Nutrition at the Irish Institute of Sport.

It will begin at 5.30pm, with refreshments available from 4.45pm, and finish at 7.15pm. Please download the invitation for full programme and speaker details. 

There is no charge for this event. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and bookings should be made no later than 27th October 2014.
