Cheese Creative Recipe Competition Launch

As part of its ‘Cheese Up Your Life’ programme, the Dairy Council has launched a competition to give NI foodies and local chefs the opportunity to develop an innovative and inspiring recipe which showcases their passion for cheese.Bloggers with an enthusiasm for cooking as well as anyone who earns their living from cooking are being challenged to come up with their most creative cheese recipe. The winner of each category will receive €1,000 each, and an all–expenses–paid trip to Brussels where their winning recipe will be showcased at an exclusive gala event.Speaking at the launch Dr Mike Johnston, Chief Executive of DCNI said:



Invitation to tender for EU programme

Invitation to tender for the appointment of an implementing body for the promotion of agricultural products within the framework of Council Regulation (EC) no 3/2008 and Commission Regulation (EC) No 501/2008. The Dairy Council for Northern Ireland invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to jointly implement a three year programme to provide information and promote EU dairy products to the Middle East and SE Asia.

Our primary function is to communicate factual information to allow individuals to make well informed choices about dairy products that they consume and to inform them of the benefits of including dairy products in a balanced diet. We use a wide range of media, which includes television, radio, press, magazine, posters and the internet. Our Advertising is complemented by public relations and promotional activities designed to communicate with specific groups.
