Brie tarts with crispy ham, pear and honey

Serves 6

Brie tarts with crispy ham, pear and honey

Ingredients

  • 1 ready rolled puff pastry sheet
  • 120g NI brie, cut into 6 slices
  • 2 small pears
  • 6 thin slices of ham
  • A little egg wash
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method

  • Oven temperature 200C
  • Horizontally cut the pastry in half and then make two evenly spaced vertical cuts, creating 6 squares of pastry.
  • Place the squares onto a large baking sheet and top with slices of brie, pear and ham. Fold in the corner of each square and brush with egg wash.
  • Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Drizzle with honey before serving.
