Trans fatty acids have been the subject of considerable interest in recent years because they have been associated with an increased risk of heart disease.
In this presentation, Dr Adam Lock, Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Science at the University of Vermont examines the potential differences in the health effects of industrial and natural sources of trans fatty acids and answers the question ‘are all trans bad?’
