Young Cook of the Year 2011

Cooking Challenge:

Students are invited to plan a surprise two-course meal for Mother's day; this can be any meal throughout the day. The meal should be prepared for a family of four and should include locally produced ingredients from Northern Ireland. The meal should be appealing, and take into consideration healthy eating guidelines. In addition, both courses should include Northern Ireland milk and dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, buttermilk and half-fat butter.
