The
Dairy Council is responsible for the generic advertising and promotion
of milk and dairy products in Northern Ireland.
Its
primary function is to communicate factual information to allow individuals
to make informed choices about which dairy products they consume and to
inform them of the benefits of including dairy products in a balanced
diet.
In
doing this the Dairy Council uses a wide range of media, including television,
radio, press, magazine, posters and the internet. Advertising is complemented
by public relations and promotional activities, designed to communicate
with specific target groups.
From
the farm to the fridge, the Dairy Council acts on behalf of the entire
dairy industry, advertising and promoting the natural goodness and quality
of Northern Ireland milk and dairy products.
