White Fish Baked with
Crème Fraiche and Cheese

 

A very simple easily prepared dish -
good, no fuss, entertaining food.

450g (1lb) White fish

25g (1oz) seasoned plain flour

1 carton crème fraiche

2 tabsp low fat mayonnaise

2 finely chopped spring onions

1 tsp dill

1 tsp lemon juice

50g (2oz) grated cheddar cheese

dill to garnish

 

Method

* Divide the fish in four even size pieces ,dip each piece in seasoned flour to coat.

* Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, spring onions, dill and lemon juice and spoon over the fish. Sprinkle with cheese.

* Bake for 30 - 35 minutes at 180oC Gas 4.

Serve with a selection of fresh vegetables .
