1 packet of Parsley and Thyme stuffing 200ml (7floz) boiling water 1 medium egg 50g (2oz) melted butter
Mix the stuffing with boiling water and egg and add 50g (2oz) melted butter. Line the base and sides of a flan tin and bake for 20 minutes at190oC gas 5.
Filling 25g (1oz) butter 25g (1oz) plain flour 300ml (2/3pt) milk seasoning 175g (6oz) cooked Turkey 75g (3oz) grated cheddar cheese 110g(4oz) broccoli florets
Method * Melt the butter and sauté the broccoli florets. * Sprinkle on the flour and seasoning and gradually stir in the milk. * Bring to the boil and add the cooked turkey. Simmer to heat thoroughly approx 10 minutes. * Add the grated cheese and stir in to melt. Pour into the flan case and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. * Serve with a baked potato and salad leaves. |
