Cheese Pate

 

150g (6oz) mature cheddar cheese

110g (4oz) cottage cheese with chives

50g (2oz) crumbled blue cheese

110g (4oz) butter

1 desp of wholegrain mustard

Seasoning/

Milk

 

Method

* Chop the cheddar cheese into cubes.

* Place all the ingredients into a food

processor and blend together until smooth.

* Add a little milk to give a smooth spreading consistency.

* Spoon into a small pot or bowl and chill for 15 - 20 minutes.

* Serve with fingers of toast

Top tip &endash; to make great party nibbles roll the cheese pate in tiny balls and roll in chopped walnuts or crushed crisps of different flavours.
